Prime Palmetto Home Inspections, LLC is proudly owned and operated by licensed home inspector Quincy Barrett.
​
A South Carolina native originally from Walterboro in the Lowcountry, Quincy relocated to the Upstate after graduating from Colleton County High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina Upstate and later obtained his MBA from Webster University.
Quincy is also currently serving his second enlistment in the Air National Guard — a commitment that reflects his dedication to discipline, integrity, and service.

The foundation of Prime Palmetto Home Inspections is built on Quincy’s lifelong exposure to construction and real estate. His father is a licensed and bonded contractor in Walterboro, and many of Quincy’s summers were spent on job sites learning firsthand how homes are built from the ground up. Over the years, Quincy and his family have also completed multiple renovation projects, further expanding his hands-on experience. His wife, a licensed South Carolina real estate agent, adds even deeper insight into the needs of buyers and sellers throughout the inspection process.

As a sole inspector-run business, Quincy takes great pride in personally conducting every inspection. His goal is simple: to provide thorough, detailed, and easy-to-understand inspection reports delivered by the next business day — while ensuring every client feels informed, comfortable, and confident in their decision.

When he’s not inspecting homes, Quincy enjoys spending time with his family.
